2018 Austin Fling!

Boy this is something I'd really love to do - especially since it's so close this year.  But between my medical issues, work and many other commitments, I have no idea at this time if it's possible.  Fingers crossed!

NEW FLOWER BED-2017

Paula working on new flowerbed she put in for me while visiting.

 While my Sister Paula was visiting last month, she finished a flowerbed I had started but have not been able to finish due to foot and knee problems.  She did a great job.  She's a master gardener at her home in Davis CA.
 This area is almost total shade.  Hostas and ferns are perfect for this bed.

August 2016

Despite neglect due to foot surgery and lack of rain, I do have a few things looking good in the garden.  We finally got some rain and everything is enjoying it.  Not quite over the surgery yet and I have to have the same on my other foot.  Can't wait until next spring so I can get back into the dirt again.

New Blog

I have started a new blog Carol's World of Quilts and other Crafts.  Going to use this blog just for outdoor stuff mostly gardening of course.  I have been spending much of my time on my quilts for quite awhile as I had a project-to make all my grands and kids a throw size quilt.  I have that completed and now just making quilts for a few friends and maybe to sell.  Click over and see what all I have been doing!
