Well, much has gone on at the ranch for getting cleaned up for spring. The first step we needed to do was get the gutters cleaned out(they were over-flowing with leaves), get all the leaves cleaned up and hauled off (the whole 2/3 acre was ankle deep) and get the grass cut. We decided it was just too much for us to tackle and the lawn mower died. So we hired a yard crew to come get us straightened out. My daughter laughed at that-yard so bad it required a crew! Not only that, about half way through, they called for help!
first the gutters were cleaned out:
Which resulted in the beds around the house being a mess. Then they started blowing all the leaves into piles and picking them up and loading them into the trailer:
Because the trailer was full, they needed 2 other trucks to put the equipment in! But the results were very nice! All clean!
So I was able, after all that, to get flowerbeds cleaned out and mulched and I have planted a few things here and there:
Veggie garden looking good:
Cutting garden going good, too. Zinnias, my favorite, shasta and gerber daisies. English peas planted along the fence:
Hi Carol. Looks like you are making good progress. Hope you have a great Easter! May the Lord bless you, Beth
