This is a little foot stool that my grandfather, Popi, made for me
many years ago when I was a little girl. She has followed me everywhere and has been many different colors. I think she started out gold, then green then white and finally a soft yellow. I stenciled the vines and flowers on top.
My Popi was a dear man-old school and treated us (me and my 2 sisters-his only grand children) as if we were princesses. To him, I guess we were. They don't build them like my Popi any more.

This may be the most memorable stool in your house so far, isn’t it? I would have kept it too, if it were given by someone very special and close to me. Your Popi was a very good craftsman. =D Do you happen to have other projects like this that you would like to share with us?
